In ancient times our Rishies find that there are
some combination of stars, which moulds the effects
of different Planets on Earth. So, to study these
things they divide the circumstance of earth in
different Rashis and elaborate them in various symbols.

The Zodiac consists of 360o
divided into the 12 signs or Rashis of 30 degrees
each. The signs of Zodiac, their Hindu equivalent
names, their extent of degrees, the symbol of
each sign, the lordship of each sign and a brief
summery is given in the table above. The Rahu
and Ketu have not given any lordships as they
are shadow planets whereas the Sun and t he
Moon are the lords of one sign each.i.e. Leo
and Cancer respectively.

The Planets revolves round
the Sun and it’s their own and Sun’s
with other Planets gravitational force, by which
they revolves round in their orbit. When an
event happens at certain point on Earth i.e.
Birth of a child at certain Date (Date of Birth)
Time (Time of Birth) and Place (Place of Birth),
the combination and calculation of Planets with
Rashies make a Horoscope or Astrological Chart.
Fig No. 1 and 2 shows that
how an Astrological horoscope is created from
Astronomical Placements of Planets.
Fig No. 1 shows the position
of Planets in sky at certain point i.e. birth
date, birth time and birth place of a native.
The second picture Fig No. 2 shows a calculated
Horoscope of this position.
