The Saturn

Saturn is called Yama. Its color is black or blue. The duty of Yama is to give judgment based on our past karma’s. Its speed is very slow and it is said to be lame. Saturn is the chief governor of longevity. Being the son of Sun it is diametrically opposed to it. Saturn and Sun are lord of Aquarius and Leo, which are opposite to each other. Sun is exalted in Aries whereas Saturn gets deblited and Saturn is exalted in Libra where Sun gets deblited. Gem ruled by Saturn is Neelam. Lord Shiva who has the power of destruction is called Neelakantha. Saturn rules West direction.

According to Newton’s theory of Prism the Violet Rays of visible spectrum are at the bottom. The frequency of violet rays is more but the wavelength is short. The wavelength of red color, which represents Mars, is just double of violet colors and frequency is less. So, more the frequency lesser is the wavelength.

Newton examined the rays further and found “ If the wave length is longer the rays bend less, if the wave length is shorter, it bends more. Thus the short waves of violet color are bend most, while the long waves of red color bend least. Violet is vigorously bent, while red resists bending.

The Rahu & Ketu

Rahu signifies South West direction. It rules over Radio, aerial, serpents, mosquitoes, bugs etc. Rahu creates epidemics, cough, gastric trouble, undiagnosed diseases etc.

Rahu is not a substantial body, which can be observed in some shape or mass like any other planet. According to Hindu Mythology, Rahu and Ketu are two parts of body. Indian Rishis (Saints) who were in fact inventors, astronomers and researchers visualized the effects of these shadowy planets very minutely. Science in those days was much more advanced than the present science.

As time lapsed science continued to decay and no solid explanation could be given by the modern astrologer on account of lack of co-ordination between Science and Astrology.

Ketu stands for religion, final emancipation and spiritual pride. The outward appearance is stated to be a red and fierce look venomous tongue, smoky color and lean disposition.
Invisible infrared has heating properties. Ketu is invisible as infrared rays and it is beyond the red visible spectrum. The infra red rays have a heating effect and on account of the red color as discussed in the case of Mars, these rays are more penetrating and do not bent, thus long distance photography is possible with the help of these rays. They inherit the quality of Mars and are responsible or quarrels, deception, assassination and vicious tendencies. Ketu rules the first constellation.
